Our Impactful Team in 2025!

As we approach the new year we’re excited to introduce you to some of our new team members at Young Change Agents who will be supporting our work to impact young people with social entrepreneurship education in 2025! Introducing…

Mia Pinnington – a Gold Coast-based Educator in Residence (EIR) with Young Change Agents, bringing over 10+ years of expertise in delivering entrepreneurial opportunities for primary school students and leveraging technology to enhance the process. Mia also enjoys supporting educators to develop their entrepreneurship capabilities through research-based professional development and sharing her extensive entrepreneurial education experiences.

Mia will be working alongside Tom Griffith (Systems & Leadership EIR) and Dr. Renae Jones (Acting-CEO and Educator in Residence with a focus on national secondary education) to deliver professional development, grow the Entrepreneurial Educators Community (E3) and more!

Bella Wallis – After working casually to support Young Change Agents as a Youth Learning Designer to support the co-design of our programs we’re excited for Bella to join Young Change Agents full-time as our Youth Learning Designer & Program Coordinator. Based in Canberra, Bella is here to help support the development of our learning programs from a youth perspective (being 18 years old herself) and support educators with getting onboarded to YCA programs (both YCA led and Educator Led). She’ll also provide support for Young Change Agents Entrepreneurial Learning Hub too. As a young person herself Bella’s role will also support key projects including Teens in Business (Awards and Club) and support our Youth Council initiatives.

Jessica Dudley – Our Head of Storytelling, Partnerships & Government Relations joined in late 2024, bringing over 15 years of media experience on projects like LEGO Masters and impactful SBS documentaries. Based in Perth, Jess is all about amplifying YCA’s mission through creative storytelling and strategic partnerships. You can reach out to Jess if you are looking to support the impact Young Change Agents can have to support young people and educators with entrepreneurial education.

2025 Leadership Updates:
While Co-founder and CEO Margaret O’Brien enjoys a well-deserved sabbatical until April 2025, as part of the Social Impact Leadership Australia (SILA) program, Dr. Renae Jones will step into the role of Acting CEO from January 2025 to April 2025.

We continue to be supported by our national team below:

  • Cat Kitney: Chief Operating Officer
  • Tiffani Seaton: Head of Programs & Indigenous Engagement
  • Shelene Bailey: Head of Product & Entrepreneurial Learning Hub
  • Kay Rumbelow: Impact & Systems Manager
