What is the problem you found?

People are being unsustainable with energy use in their homes. They are conscious about their energy but don't know how to effectively reduce usage it. They need to learn to be conscious of the different ways to save power, even things in simple ways such as turning a light off after they leave a room.

How might we educate and encourage people to be more sustainable with power?

Who is your audience?

Our customers are people who are conscious about their power usage and/or somebody worried about wasting money on unnecessary power consumption. Our app will help them be more environmentally conscious, help people save money and help people connect through the app.

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution is an app that tracks users' power consumption in their home. The app tells the user how much power they're using and how much money it's costing them. The user may also check which areas of their house are using up most of the power. You can set yourself monthly power goals to achieve, like for example a goal to use under 800 kWh. The app also features leaderboards or competitions for friends to compete and see who is able to use the least power.
