Good Health & Wellbeing

What is the problem you found?

There has and will continue to be a decline in the overall mental health and wellbeing of the population especially young people as they have lost the ability to emotionally connect with their friends and extended family who do not live with them in a face to face environment.

What is your opportunity?

How might we bring this emotional connection back through a virtual experience?

Who is your audience?

Young people who have lost an opportunity to connect with their close friends and relatives in a face to face environment.

What Is Your Solution?

My solution is to create an interactive video game where young people can talk to their friends and extended family who are not living with them. However, the point of difference with this game is that emotional feelings and actions such as hugs, handshakes, high fives and fist bumps will be felt by each player at any time they chose whilst playing the game. People can also walk around very close to each other even holding hands. The idea behind the game is to simulate the real-life  social and emotional experience of seeing family and close friends in an outdoor environment or even at a person's house of the players choice. The feelings and sense of touch that a person will recieve will be created through 4D technology that is used in film and virtual reality.
