Reduced Inequality

What is the problem you found?

People with disabilities and special needs can't access vehicles, and in particular aeroplanes, as they struggle to accommodate wheelchair users.

This restricts their ability to enjoy travelling for leisure, work, employment, or healthcare.

What is your opportunity?

How might we make transport more accessible for people with disabilities?

Who is your audience?

Our customer will be airline companies who have an interest in providing the disabled community with affordable and accessible transport options.

Our users will be individuals with disabilities and special needs who don't feel comfortable or are unable to travel on conventional planes.

What Is Your Solution?

A business that equips vehicles with features to support disabled people in accessing transport, through mechanisms such as:

  • Locking in wheelchairs so they don't move around,
  • Ramps, braille, tactile paving, and additional space for people with vision impairments,
  • A screen the transcribes announcements in front of deaf people so they can understand what is going on,
  • Leg supports, seats with additional leg room and compartments for crutches,
  • Wider aisles
