What is the problem you found?
The design of aeroplanes is exceptionally tight, making it uncomfortable and inaccessible for many people (wheelchair users, tall people, families) to travel for extended periods of time.
Packing and planning a holiday is also a stressful activity, with a lot of uncertainty around how much to pack and how costly the trip will be.
What is your opportunity?
How might we make travel more comfortable and easy?
Who is your audience?
Travellers who are dissatisfied with conventional aeroplane experiences. They may be uncertain about costs or what to pack, and might find the aeroplane design uncomfortable.
What Is Your Solution?
Our product has two components, the first being a new design for aeroplanes where the chairs are more staggered, accommodating greater leg room and enhanced comfort for users.
The second component is a website called MEBI-Web designed to help travellers with packing and planning affordable trips. This website is easy to use and will make the travel experience easier, supporting users in a range of different areas.
