What is the problem you found?
Blind and deaf people do not often get a chance to travel, and when they do the experience is challenging.
The lack of accessibility means simple tasks such as booking a ticket on a plane, become hard.
What is your opportunity?
How might we make travelling easier for blind and deaf people?
Who is your audience?
Our customer is blind and deaf people who struggle to get around airports due to the lack of accessibility.
What Is Your Solution?
Sensory Walk is an app that uses assistive technology to guide blind and deaf people through airports. The app contains a map with audio and visual features, that is customisable to the needs of the individual.
This dramatically improves the airport experience for this group, allowing them to more easily navigate and get to where they need to be.
