What is the problem you found?
We found that disabled or elderly people may not be able to visit rural Australia and this could be due to issues such as: being physically disabled, elderly people or just people at their last stages of their life and people from lower earning backgrounds. We think that this is a very big issue as people don't know what rural Australia is and it's not sustainable for only one particular type of people to visit an area.
What is your opportunity?
How might we allow people to engage with rural NSW without having to visit.
Who is your audience?
People who can't easily travel to rural NSW, people who are physically disabled, elderly people or just people at their last stages of their life and people from lower earning backgrounds.
What Is Your Solution?
We decided to utilise Virtual Reality and Olfactory technology to offer people the most realistic experience from home. We think that by using the more commonly used sense that we use to portray rural Australia we can provide a very much similar experience. We would generally say that it would be much cheaper to buy the package with the three senses model. But if we modify the product in the future we could potentially add more features such as a touchpad which portrays the touch sense.

Development
We would like to progress the idea of adding the sense of smell to Virtual Reality. We are also willing to expand into the other two senses such as touch pad techonolgy and make be a tasting device too.
