supported by Muru-D
Muru-D has been a long-time supporter of Young Change Agents. In 2017 we held Australia's first high school social enterprise incubator program for alumni of our 2.5 day programs at Muru-D in Sydney. In 2018 we have held cohort #2 and #3. The Muru-D staff and Founders have offered support in terms of mentoring and Q&A sessions for the youth.
Through personal experience in our friendship groups, we have seen there is not enough support for mental health in our region. We aim to change this.
We believe gender shouldn't be on the label.
Providing alternative solutions to single use plastic.
The Bloody Good Group
Periods shouldn't be a taboo topic and girls should have the information they need BEFORE they start their period.
Every person should have the opportunity to be financially independent.
We exist to help connect international and local university students to provide a better overall university experience.
We want to change the stigma of counselling so that youth seek help for mental health issues.
50% of graduate teachers LEAVE the profession within the first 5 years. That needs to change.
We want to ensure all children have a positive male role model in their lives so we can prevent violence against women.
