Kilbreda College – Discovery Program

Young Change Agents' social entrepreneurship programs help youth to see problems as opportunities. During this program 27 students from Years 7 and 8 at Kilbreda College in Mentone, Victoria participated in a 1-day Discovery program in Term 2, 2022. Students created community maps, identified problems in their community, and then worked in teams of 3-6 to reframe a problem as an opportunity, ideate and validate solution. Students concluded the day with a pitch of their social enterprise idea. The students came up with a diverse range of solutions to problems in their communities.
