Kingscliff State High School – Industry Intrapreneurship

Northern Rivers, New South Wales, Australia

Young Change Agents, through the support of RIEP, delivered a 2-day Industry Intrapreneurship workshop for 24 Year 9-10 girls at Kingscliff State High School. Through this program, students learned about careers in STEM and engineering from Elizabeth Seidl, Brie Jowett (absent), and Megan Dale from the Tweed Shire Council. The students then learned about four different issues related to water. Throughout the program, students used design thinking to identify problems, reframe them as opportunities, develop a solution, create prototypes, and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.
