Customer / Problem

The target market is within our local community, which is experiencing a housing crisis, with increased expenses including rent, groceries and fuel as well as recovering from the 2011 and 2013 floods. Our business has recognised these financial and environmental issues and want to support local community members as well as the environment through our chosen charity, LandCare Australia.

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution to this problem is offering our customers stylish chopping boards made from reused timber, with the option of personalisation, and give them information with the use of a brochure. Furthermore, we will tell them that all profits go to LandCare Australia in which are a huge charity that positively impacts the environment such as the 1 Million Trees program.

Our business requires connections with the community to find out if they have spare timber lying around, so we can reuse and repurpose that timber to make chopping boards instead of them buying a chopping board from a shop that doesn't give back to the environment.
