Customer / Problem

Our community events produce too much rubbish and are negatively impacting the environment. Only 32% of Australian festival waste is recycled, and sadly 80% of the rubbish produced is left behind by event goers. Local businesses and vendors want to be environmentally conscious but these products are often unaffordable.

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution is an enterprise that creates sustainable utensils for events. We will produce bamboo cutlery, medium and small serving trays and cups. Our goal is to eradicate single use plastic in a festival/event environment by providing sustainable and biodegradable alternatives. Our Bamboo utensils take 3-4 years to biodegrade compared to the lifetime that plastic alternatives take to do the same. We also encourage the community to use our platform to rate and review events on their sustainability. Our community survey suggests that people do not buy biodegradable products because they do not know where to look, they are too expensive or it is too hard. Our unique value proposition of sustainability, affordability and ease of access will strongly combat this.
