How might we provide meaningful opportunities for homeless people?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are mostly homeless people who are looking for opportunities to reskill and reclaim the ability to pay for their own accommodation. We will be focusing on people in these circumstances who don't currently have skills that can bring them a sustainable income.

What Is Your Solution?

BHELs is a store that sells clothing made from upcycled fabrics and clothing that is donated. The store's production line employs homeless people in the community and trains them in sewing and other fashion skills. The profit from sales goes to paying the homeless employees and training more homeless people. There are plans to partner with homeless charities to provide this as an additional service, to complement their services
