Problem Statement
How might we encourage people to shop locally?
Customer / Problem
Local businesses are being overlooked.
Society doesn’t recognise the importance of local business.
Young people are struggling to get into the workforce.
South Australia has a failing economy.
Solution
We aim to create an app, called B.Local, which will showcase the great work and special deals of our local businesses in order to encourage customers to choose local options over commercialised alternatives. By connecting buyers with local businesses, the economy will prosper by keeping money locally. With thriving economics the community will open up many more jobs in turn reducing poverty, crime, and increase in business startups. With a developing economy, more money can be invested to our local community to go back into the community which can turn Murray Bridges aspirations into reality.
