Customer / Problem

Our customers are the students and staff of our school community. SCAS can be more ecofriendly through agriculture and locally sourced food. It would be great if there was a program that integrated what students are learning in science and tech classes with the real problems in the school.

What Is Your Solution?

The Greenhouse Project produces food and herbs through a school garden for the school cafe. The project also supports local businesses and farmers by supplying and boosting the supply of locally produced food and herbs. The project uses unwanted food from students as carefully composted manure to grow the leafy garden. The garden further adds to the visual appeal of the school.
