How might we support young people who are really struggling with their mental health during COVID-19 lockdown?
Customer / Problem
Our customers are children at the age of 10 to 18. The coronavirus lockdown has really affected most young people's mental health. To make it worse, they are cut off from peers. This makes it even more confusing for them as they can't see that what they're going through may be normal. They sometimes don't feel very supported and able to express their feelings and concerns in a safe way.
We’re going to have a website where students can safely talk about their issues and get professional support as well as peer support. To protect students' safety and privacy, all interactions will remain anonymous and background checks will ensure that only the right age group can sign up.
We need connection to get professionals to come on to the website and help and support the children their.
