What is the problem you found?
How might we reduce the dangers for young people when catching public transport?
Customer / Problem
Parents, caregivers and guardians are worried about safety of kids when catching public transport, or may struggle financially to provide kids with money for buses. This can sometimes lead to a lack of communication between kids & parents, which can impact the overall safety of our community.
What Is Your Solution?
H.O.S Tap is a fun mobile device that kids can use to pay (tap on and off) every time they catch the bus. Each tap is synced with both the child and their parent's device, which alerts parents of their children's whereabouts and movements. This will not only ease the anxiety of parents and caregivers when it comes to allowing children to commute independently, but will also form a connection between the members of our community, promoting a safer environment for all.
