There is currently an inadequacy in the mental health support available for young people in schools. Problems often go unaddressed and are allowed to fester. We want to introduce a preventative measure that will identify and address problems before they grow too serious.

I'M HERE is an innovative schools initiative which will address youth mental wellbeing to ensure every young person receives the support they need. The initiative will involve partnering with qualified psychologists to provide a biyearly mental health checkup with every student across the state. This will schools to check in consistently with students in order to monitor any potential issues. It will also provide a much needed feeling of security and support to students who may be struggling, as well as giving them clarity in regards to their own situation and whatever problems may be developing.
