How might we encourage people to get outside their comfort zone and think outside the box when it comes to career options?
Customer / Problem
Students aren't aware of all of the career opportunities that are actually available to them. They are often afraid to think outside the box when it comes to planning for the future.
Our solution is to create a service - involving both a website and a tour van - in order to educate youth (and any other interested parties) about the job opportunities available to them and the merit of expanding their horizons. The tour van component of our service would visit schools and hold education sessions. The website would track the van's progress and also provide the user with resources to link them up with potential job opportunities according to their skillset and interests. We would aim to visit at least 30 schools in rural towns across Australia in the early stages of our social enterprise and spread a positive message about exploring new employment possibilities and challenging your own perceptions of your limitations.
