How might we break down the stigma around seeking support for drug addiction  and rehab?

Customer / Problem

Our customer are people who want to show compassion and support for victims of drug addiction but don't know how to help.

This product provides a means for society to show support and bring awareness to this sensitive topic while breaking down the stigma of seeking help for addiction.

From our research we were able to conclude:

• Out of 16 people surveyed, 94% said they were concerned by the amount of drug use in our city.
• Put in an imaginary situation, 94% said they would either be scared or reluctant to go to rehab.
• 41% of respondents said they knew someone in their community negatively affected by drugs and substances.

What Is Your Solution?

We have created a lavender badge,  80% of the proceeds will go to supporting people going through rehab by paying off some of their bills.

Our small badge represents hope and healing, signifying growth and a new beginning. We hope that our product will help the youth of Ballarat in making better choices and remove the stigma that surrounds going to rehab.
