Problem Statement

How might we help small businesses and people who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19?

Customer / Problem

People who have lost their jobs, and small businesses that have fewer customers, need local jobs and income. There are less available jobs currently due to covid-19 making it harder to apply for and find work. At the same time there are opportunities to provide resources to stop the spread of covid-19.

Solution

Mee Masks makes personalised face masks that are designed by local artists and hand-printed locally. Local artists create unique and customised designs, local people looking for work are trained in hand printing fabric, and local businesses stock a selection of the masks. Customers can also buy apparel to match their masks such as tote bags and socks.
