What is the problem you found?

Minorities are being discriminated against and bullied, and because of that they don't feel safe. People don't understand and appreciate other cultures and groups of people. Our research found that 1 in 5 Australians have experienced race-hate talk.

Customer / Problem

The customer problem is that they are facing discrimination and bullying and sometimes isolation. This is a way for people to get together and get information on the things they are struggling with. It's also a way for people to meet others with similar problems. We are focusing on young people, particularly students experiencing disability and those in LGTBQ community.

What Is Your Solution?

To create a cafe called Bake my Breath Away to fund visits to schools to educate students and teachers on these minorities (LGBTQ+, people of colour, people with disabilities). This would be a safe space for all. No matter your colour, gender, sexuality. It's a place to stay, grab  a warm drink, talk with a friend. It also provides a judgement free zone all for the price of a smile and maybe a coffee and cake.
