Customer / Problem

Queanbeyan has a concerningly high incarceration rate among its youth, due to the overall lack of community engagement and opportunities available for young people to express themselves in a constructive way.

What Is Your Solution?

We aim to establish the Queanbeyan Youth Centre, a welcoming four storey facility kitted out with a huge range of activities and spaces available for young people to access for a small monthly fee. The centre would foster a stronger sense of community within our youth and connect them with the right people to support them when they are experiencing hardship. It would also provide a strong incentive to choose constructive activities as an alternative to staying out on the streets, which would restore a sense of confidence and safety in the Queanbeyan community.
