What is the problem you found?

How might we provide more opportunities for people with social anxiety to engage with others in the community?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are people suffering from a social anxiety disorder who struggle to socialise, make friends or leave their homes.

What Is Your Solution?

'S.D.DT' have created a centre that provides a safe place for people suffering from anxiety to relax and meet others in the community.

In the centre there will be various resources, one of which is dog therapy. People may enter the outside area to be paired with a dog (golden retriever) to help with their mental wellbeing, also allowing for them communicate and make connections with others at the centre.

Other features of the centre include:

  • A library inside the building to relax and read books and meet others with similar interests.
  • A study room for people to study with all the resources they may need.
  • A cafe where people can interact and talk to others who are experiencing similar problems to them.
