Problem Statement

How might we help women to feel confident with their natural bodies?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are women between the ages of 16 and 35. The problem is that the fashion and beauty industry is full of images of superstars and supermodels that are portrayed as the everyday woman's story. This affects how women see themselves and their body. It is easy to want to look like what you see so it would help if there was a way to show real women of all sizes in beauty and fashion.

Solution

Silhouette is a fashion website that allows people to see clothes in their body size with daily motivations and messages for encouragement. It is a place where diverse women aged from 16 to 35 can see their clothes modelled in their own sizes. It is designed to enable the user to upload their measurement and model the fashion item in their exact measurement. They also have the option to choose models (of all sizes) that they would like to see their clothes on. An added feature is a method for encouraging other women via a self-love page with daily motivations and messages for encouragement
