What is the problem you found?

How might we educate society about unethical products and fast fashion? Whilst also looking at ways to support and donate to charities (eg animal testing, deforestation, and saving koalas)?

Customer / Problem

Our customers may not be able to afford new clothes and are looking for an easy way to swap clothes with others to save money.

Our customers are people like Henry. Henry is 17 and is currently using every spare hour he has after school to work at the local Mcdonald's. He is working on minimum wage and his mother last year broke her back meaning she is unable to work. Henry's family of 5 is currently only receiving funds from Centrelink and his job, so as you can see money is tight. 

This year Henry has a formal and is looking for a blue jacket, but can't afford to buy a new one. He has a red jacket from a previous event but can't wear it again this year.

What Is Your Solution?

The purpose of Switch Fit is to reduce, educate and draw society away from unethically sourced products. 

The switch fit app helps people find and swap pre-loved fashion with others using digital tokens. For each swap, users get tokens to donate to a charity of their choice.

Our app can help people like Henry find pre-loved clothes and swap their existing clothes. Henry can find someone in need of a blue formal jacket and can receive a red formal jacket in return. Our app helps support people like Henry who may not be able to afford new clothes and also helps with reducing fast fashion! It's a win-win.
