People want to find a way to stop people from throwing rubbish everywhere.

People throwing rubbish can be an issue because it can pollute the waterways when flooding or a windy storm occurs.

What is your opportunity?

How might we stop people from throwing their rubbish everywhere?

Who is your audience?

Everyone who needs to throw away rubbish. You don't get anything from throwing rubbish in the bin so people can't be bothered to throw it in the bin.

What Is Your Solution?

The solution we made is an Eco Bin. The Eco Bin is a bin that gives a reward after some rubbish has been placed inside the bin. Once the user has put the rubbish in the bin they will need to open the ECO BINS app. The user will then need to go behind the bin and use the QR scanner in the app to be able to redeem a reward.
