Judges Choice: Energy Shoes | Shoes that generate electricity through kinaesthetic energy

What is the problem you found?

The problem is that fossil fuels create mass amounts of pollution, which is destroying all aspects of the environment and is a finite resource. An alternate energy source must be found to replace this and redeem our planet.

 

What is your opportunity?

How might we create a product to harvest renewable energy? To run and walk creates 0% energy but using running shoes including batteries in them can create renewable energy to charge technology instead of using wall power points.

Who is your audience?

People who want to have an on-the-go, renewable charging option

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution is to create shoes that can generate electricity via motion. 
It is a small device that is easily rechargeable, and easily accessible with the ability to generate high amounts of energy. For practicality research into how wind farms generate energy via kinaesthetic energy should be explored. This is a fun idea that is practical for everyone.

For this idea/product to have a further positive impact on the environment the shoe itself will be made out of hemp and other biodegradable products to reduce pollution and with recycled products. There are already brands and shoes produced which are eco-friendly, therefore they can be partnered with to create this eco-friendly shoe
