What is the problem you found?

Regional and rural areas are falling behind in development due to not enough workers and employees in most professions in these areas. This therefore results in slower development, and more people crowding to be in the city. This is very bad because there is a lot of space to live in the world, and we need to displace the population as best as possible. Many regional and rural areas are completely suitable to live in, if not better than living in a highly populated area. Not having enough people in rural areas has many side-effects, such as the population displacement that I mentioned, and a lot of these side-effects together have a strong effect on climate change and global warming etc.

What is your opportunity?

How might we positively encourage more people to work, and live in regional and rural areas and how might we achieve this in an efficient, cheap, and effective way?

Who is your audience?

My customer/client will simply be everyone looking to find a job. This is a very large positive because this is a very broad topic, that many people are doing, and this app/idea can be applied to a majority of the population.

What Is Your Solution?

My solution is to create and app that finds jobs for people that are looking for work opportunities. It will show the many bonuses that come with working rurally, and hopefully the front page of the app is enough to convince them to, instead of going for a hard-to-find job in the city, take up the same job, but in a more needing community. It will be free, and the only profit will be through donations and fundraisers to support regional and rural areas. There will be many filters that the user of the app 'Jobomatic' can apply to ensure that they find their specified job, efficiently, easily, and accurately. The main bonus that comes with this app is that it focuses strongly on regional and rural areas, so anyone accessing it will see job results in those less populated, more remote areas first, before considering urban or CBD employment.

Support Required

Development

To move forward with this project I will need developmental support to make this app come to life. I would struggle to turn my prototype into a usable app with no faults - and a coder might be helpful to help create Jobomatic and solve this issue that I have found. This app might need development because I have only made prototypes of some of the pages of Jobomatic. The app might need better development, to turn an idea into a working app that people can use to find jobs in regional and rural areas.
