DIGITAL BOSS
Codesigned with schools and industry, Digital Boss for Schools provides a real-world experience of running a digital business – it's a unique opportunity for students to have a comprehensive experience of being an entrepreneur within a safe, educational environment. Students will go through the process of launching and managing a purpose-driven digital enterprise, with real life customers. At the end of the program they will then decide whether to close it or continue on as an independent business.
From 2023-2024, the Telstra Foundation is funding scholarships for 48 low-ICSEA schools to complete the program. 79 educators have been engaged in professional development sessions as well as self paced learning to build their capacity. This year this group plan to deliver the program to 1470+ students across Australia.
