$20 Boss by Young Change Agents.

$20 Boss is a funded program from Young Change Agents that supports young people to create a product or service using $20.

Teachers get access to toolkits and resources to facilitate $20 Boss in their school and students receive $20* to invest in their ideas and bring them to life.

Since first launching in 2015, the $20 Boss program has positively influenced thousands of young people and has equipped them with the skills, tools, and mindset necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

*Funding is by application for schools with an ICSEA score below 1,100 (apply here)

A framework for success.

$20 Boss uses design thinking activities and provides a tangible framework to support students as they learn, identify and talk about the skills they are building.

This is a program designed to be accessible for all educators and there is a toolkit to suit different learners and delivery timings.

Skills-driven learning & mapped to the Australian curriculum.

$20 Boss puts the development of enterprise skills like critical and creative thinking, teamwork and entrepreneurship at the forefront of learning.

$20 Boss also has been designed to fit seamlessly into the Australian Curriculum and is mapped against general capabilities and relevant learning areas for years 5-10 and VCAL.

Community of practice.

Young Change Agents has built a community of practice for educators to help them feel supported and equipped to deliver entrepreneurial education that prepares their students for their future.

We have specific events to help support $20 Boss teachers each term and can also deliver professional development workshops to your school.

Comprehensive toolkits.

A Full, Lite, and Five Step Toolkit are available for free to support teachers to deliver the program. These toolkits provide lesson plans, worksheets resources and more.

You can take what you need from different toolkits and customise the learning experience for your students context.

Budgeting tool.

Designed specifically for the $20 Boss program, the budgeting tool helps students set up and manage their budget and gives teachers the tools to approve budgets and manage overall funds at the completion of the program.
