Industry Intrapreneurship.
Solving real-world problems. Building real-world connections.
This program is an opportunity for young people to experience solving real-world problems for companies across different industries. Students are presented with a problem and use design thinking processes to develop, validate and prototype solutions.
Our industry intrapreneurship experience is a great way to build stronger connections between your school and industry and the local community. It’s also a great chance for students to understand how to apply entrepreneurial skills they have developed in other programs to an intrapreneurial context and understand the value of their skillset. This can equip them to better articulate their skills in interviews with universities, employers and other stakeholders. It can also be a first taste of entrepreneurship for students that leads on to then applying these skills to develop their ideas from this program or other ideas into a business.
This program can be run as an intensive or over multiple weeks.
“Thank you for the opportunity, and the excellent endeavour that YCA is. It is absolutely brilliant to see that the students are able to learn and practise some of the extremely crucial skills like HCD and entrepreneurship while in school. I was stoked to see students apply lateral thinking to the problems that they are facing and come up with innovative solutions.”
