What is the problem you found?

The problem with remote communities is that there are not enough opportunities happening to keep teenagers occupied and healthy.

How might we provide more opportunities for teenagers living in remote communities?

Customer / Problem

Certain kids aren't good with schoolwork but are good with sports and that’s the only way that'll keep them out of trouble. Without sports and only schoolwork, some kids don’t attend school and they'll keep getting into trouble.

What Is Your Solution?

An inter-community sports competition and carnival that encourages young people to play sports like basketball and AFL. It is focused on boarding students from Darwin and encourages them to play sports against each other. A sporting space in Darwin like Narrara can be used, and the students participating will be offered bus transport and prizes for winning competitions.
