How might we improve our local council?

Customer / Problem

There is currently a disconnect between the local council and community members, meaning that our voices aren't being heard and no-one knows what is going on behind the scenes in our community.

What Is Your Solution?

We want to make sure that our local council is hearing our voice. To do this, we want to create a service that would provide open days for the local council, allowing youth to gain a greater understanding of what is involved in the roles in council, and helping the council to hear a youth voice. Through this partnership, we would be able to see lasting change occur in our community, and foster a healthier relationship of communication and action with the local council. We would ideally take this service further, to try and replicate a positive change in other communities, too.
