What is the problem you found?

How might we be able to recycle old clothes?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are people who want to get rid of old clothes, knowing that they will be recycled into new, fashionable clothes. Our other customer base are people that want to buy sustainable clothing, knowing that it was made ethically.

What Is Your Solution?

We are designing a clothing bin which will have a camera that will sort out old and new items that will then go through a sensor which will test the material. It will then we sorted out into four sections inside the bin, where the clothes will be stored. Once a sensor recognises that the bin is full, a truck will come to pick up the clothes and bring it to our warehouse where the clothes will be assessed again before they get revamped or redone completely. After they are ready, they will be taken to one of our stores where they will be sold for cheaper prices. The bins will be placed around the Sydney neighbourhoods.
