Problem Statement

How Might We bring teenagers together and help them feel valid and included within the community?

Customer / Problem

In a recent study almost 90% of teens between the ages of 12-18 feel that they are left out of community events on a regular basis. Young people are often left out of the loop with events going on in their area due to a lack of adequate, youth appropriate coverage of the social fabric of communities. As a result, young people are more likely to grow idle or feel socially isolated while communities lose out on the engagement of a huge and influential demographic.

Solution

Ignite Youth Events is a digital platform that keeps young people up to date with the hottest events taking place in their local area. Through the use of the platform, event organisers will be able to connect with youth to generate community engagement and enrich social ecosystems.
