School leavers and people in the construction field, currently they face challenges around lack of flexibility, a male-dominated work culture, saftey concerns and long hours.

What Is Your Solution?

Kale’s construction - Is a new construction company that better addresses safety concerns and works to overcome the lack of work/life balance. They boast 4 day work weeks to compensate for long hours and have flexible start/finish times to compensate for employees with families. They do workshops to educate employees about racism, sexism, homophobia within the workplace and to create a more inclusive and accepting workplace. This will help to create a more appealing construction industry as people will be able to see there is significant change to make it more appealing in terms of diversity, work-life balance and an overall safer workplace.
