How might we improve peoples financial skills and make them independent?

Customer / Problem

Our consumer is the young population of Australia and students who are unsure on how to make their future financially secure and who lack financial literacy. This uncertainty around how to spend and save, manage taxes, get a job, or select a  superannuation fund can create large amounts of stress in early adulthood. 

Parents may also be overburdened with teaching their children how to manage finances.

What Is Your Solution?

Life support is a website and a service who come into schools and teach students financial literacy through engaging workshops. These workshops will use simple language to explain topics such as taxes, employment, and superannuation, while also teaching other life skills including healthy eating, household skills, and maintenance/fixing household appliances.

To make financial literacy accessible to everyone, there is also a pool of resources available online.

We require connections to schools so that we are able to present about financial literacy.

We require funding so that we can purchase the resources necessary to be able to make our way around to schools and present.
