What is the problem you found?

How might we address the issue of overpriced food and mental health?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are young people and high school students, who cannot afford quality food and are potentially experiencing mental health issues.

They may be reluctant to reach out for help through formal support structures due to stigma, or a lack of will.

What Is Your Solution?

We are going to start a canteen business that will provide cheaper food, such as baked potatoes, eggs on toast, avocado on toast and fantales.

Our canteen will be based in a van, making it a portable service that can travel to schools, local sporting events, and parks. The canteen will have people that specialize in therapy and mental health, who are available to sit and chat with customers about what they're experiencing and offer support.
