What is the problem you found?

Young women/girls not feeling safe in public areas and parents/carers concerned about their safety. Our problem statement is: How might we make young women in the community feel safer? 

Customer / Problem

Young women feel unsafe when they take transport to school or go out with their friends. They do not feel comfortable when they are out of their home and especially when walking alone at night.

What Is Your Solution?

The Powerpop Bracelet contains a tracking device and is connected to an app. The bracelet makes it easy to send an alert when the user is feeling unsafe and allows for friends and family of the user to track where they are. The bracelet has a comfortable and stylish design to appeal to the target demographic of young women.
