What is the problem you found?

How might we help clean our local community in a cost efficient and encouraging way?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are predominantly school students who are passionate about the environment and want to see a less polluted community. Even students who are not passionate about the environment will be interested due to the rewards that our innovative design provides.

What Is Your Solution?

Reward Cycle have created a state of the art garbage vending machine which is fitted with compartments with built-in scales and laser scanners.

Users place utilise garbage instead of money and the scales and scanners examine the waste to determine a value, and the user will then be given a snack based on the weight and type of litter that is deposited.

The snacks are a fun way to encourage people to dispose garbage properly rather than littering. It will also encourage users to not only put their own garbage away, but it will also encourage them to clean up general garbage they find. This is because the more litter that is placed into the machine, the larger and more higher value the snack will be that they can redeem.

Support Required

Funding

The aim is to obtain funding  / product support from Coles Express Service Stations (or similar brand). The company will supply snack products which will support their brand awareness as people will be using the machine and the service station will become an area that attracts visitors and tourists.
