What is the problem you found?

How might we reduce food waste in restaurants and our communities?

Customer / Problem

Our customers are families and individuals in the community looking to find simple ways to reduce their amount of waste without having to adjust their routine too much. As well as families and individuals looking to find more affordable ways to living a more sustainable lifestyle.

What Is Your Solution?

TakeKit provides a sustainable food kit that people may use when they are not eating at home. People will be encouraged to bring their containers to restaurants and bring their leftover food home, with restaurants offering discounts for people who bring in their containers.

Each Kit will include:

  • Fold-up containers (extra small, small, medium, large, extra large etc)
  • Fold-up reusable cup (small, regular, large etc)
  • Straws (Metal, bamboo, paper etc)
  • Cutlery (Splade, spork etc)
  • Beeswax wrap (able to be cut and customized)
