Tasmania Local Link Up | How might we create a sense of community amongst disengaged youth?

What is the problem you found?

While working in local communities, we have noticed a lack of knowledge in services people can access. People also have a lack of willingness to enter places such as Centrelink to sign up to services due to the lack of respect the organization has.

Customer / Problem

There is a lack of appropriate social and emotional support for youth.

What Is Your Solution?

Tasmanian Local Link Up is a community support service that uses collaboration and a referable-based system to connect youth with relevant services they may not be aware of. 

Our mission as part of the Tasmanian Local Linkup is to connect Tasmania’s more
disadvantaged youth with support services they may not have known about and
may require.

Our main goal is to partner with other external agencies and organisations to help
deliver this on going support to communities and their members.
