Problem Statement
How might we get city folk to realise what's happening to the farmers?
Customer / Problem
People living in urban areas are disconnected from the experience of Australian farmers as a result of the current drought crisis.
Solution
Our aim is to create a portable virtual reality experience that we could distribute to school students living in urban areas in order to allow them to 'experience firsthand' the current drought crisis from the perspective of our farmers. This VR technology would be a highly valuable educational tool for these students and it would also foster an empathy link between rural and urban regions that would serve to inspire activism on the drought crisis in financially privileged regions, helping to provide crucial financial support to those in need.
