What is the problem you found?

How might we get gum dispensers installed in supermarkets and be able to buy the gum by using reusable jars/containers?

Customer / Problem

Gum consumers buy lots of gum and therefore buying a lot of plastic pollution. Gum packaging adds up to 250,000 tones of waste!

What Is Your Solution?

Get gum dispensers installed in supermarkets and encourage use of reusable containers/jars to fill full of gum.

The consumer will bring a jar from home and will fill it up at the super market from gum dispensers. When they use a jar/container for the first time, it will be marked so they can get a discount when they reuse it. Its paid for by weight. There is a QR code on the dispensers which you can scan to record when you use the service, and can get discounts off future uses.
