What is the problem you found?

How might we increase students engagment and understanding of science? 

Customer / Problem

Students don't understand why they are learning science which leaves them bored and unengaged. Science is often viewed as being only for the gifted kids or for scientists. We need to embed the idea that science is everyday and everyone should be able to understand the basics of it. 

What Is Your Solution?

Our solution is to merge science with other subjects and increase links to practical application. The science aspects of Home Economics, PE, Maths and Social Sciences would be highlighted and used towards study credits. A hands on practical approach to science would allow for greater engagement.
