LANEEBEE ST Multicultural Festival | A Multicultural Festival to "Embrace Your Culture"
Project Team:
Lana Saykao , Taneesha Hang , Abbey Nguyen
What is the problem you found?
People around our area don't seem to embrace their culture. We want people/young people to be able to feel proud of their culture and show it off to others for them to learn.
What is your opportunity?
There are not enough days in the year to appreciate or recognise other cultures. How might we create more opportunities for cultures to be recognised? How might we help young people feel proud about their cultural backgrounds and want to embrace it?
Who is your audience?
We have a very diverse and large customer base.
Our event can be attended by all people who with to learn about and engage with diverse cultures in a fun and in manner.
formative
Some of our potential customers include:
- Young people. (Children and Teenagers)
- Culturally diverse people
- Members of Logan city communities
- Those wanting to learn about other cultures
What Is Your Solution?
We have come up with a Multicultural Festival that helps young people learn about other cultures surrounding them and help them be able to embrace and show others their culture and educate others.
We want to create a cultural festival where everyone is able to appreciate their ethnicities and backgrounds. Attendees can dress up in own traditional clothing. The festival will sell food, drinks, and clothes from a variety of cultures. There will be performance opportunities for those to share traditional dances or music from their culture.
Our aim is to create more inclusive communities through this initiative. While it will start in the Logan area, we anticipate that the event will grow to have nation wide impact.

Development
We will need to develop the following:
