What is the problem you found?
Disconnection, social isolation and food price inflation is becoming a serious and harmful problem. Thousands of people in the Logan area alone are suffering from food insecurity and mental health issues as a result. Education and experiences regarding different cultures and their cuisines are also very low. We want to create a solution to this issue by providing a cost effective way for the people of Logan to connect with, share, and educate each on culture!
What is your opportunity?
We created an opportunity from these problems and have developed our own solution to the question, "How might we create a safe and open community environment for people to learn about different cultures in a new, innovative way and to connect with others?"
Who is your audience?
Our customers are multi-cultured people who wish to express their own culture and educate others about their culture through food and communication, people who wish to learn about foreign cultures that surround us in our day to day lives, and people who are disconnected from their native or original culture who wish to reconnect, learn about, and share their experiences and their stories.
Our customer's pains include:
1. Not being educated on different cultures
2. Being unable to engage in cultural education in a fun and enjoyable way
3. Feeling disconnected from their culture or from the culture they are currently immersed in
What our customer will gain from our product:
1. A fun and enjoyable 2way to learn and interact with different cultures
2. A sense of connection to culture, whether this is their OWN culture OR another culture!
3. The creation of a culturally diverse and empowered community
What Is Your Solution?
We believe it is imperative to learn about and celebrate different people's beliefs and cultures. We have found that a food truck is the best way to gather people and support a sense of belonging in a community environment.
Our social enterprise, Cuisine Limousine, is a food truck that will travel throughout the city of Logan educating all communities on culture and connection.
Our food truck will sell cost-effective food items from various cultures that are present in the region.
When you purchase a food item, you will get a "culture card" that contains fun and exciting facts about a diverse culture (this card may not even be related to the culture you are eating from, it is a lucky dip!).
The aim is for the food truck to celebrate the different cultures in the Logan region while educating communities about the diverse cultures within. We hope to create a sense of community and connection with the food truck and hope to inspire inclusivity and diversity throughout Logan.
Our vision is for the food truck to be able to travel Australia-wide! But we need to start small in our own community to capture and understand our impact before expanding our idea.

Connections
We would love to see our food truck in schools, educating young people about culture in a fun way. Due to this, we will need to connect with schools in the Logan region to see if they are interested in this opportunity.
We will also need to connect with people from diverse cultures to help us create the culture cards, ensuring they are authentic and culturally appropriate.
Funding
Support income to assist us in the beginning stages of our business would be greatly appreciated as it would give us the ability to create a foundation and kickstart our idea. We are hoping to gain the support of the Logan City council as we believe our idea would be great to have at local events and would benefit the Logan community.
Advice
We need to learn more about food safety and where we will get culturally diverse food from to pursue this idea.
Development
We will need to develop many parts of our social enterprise including:
1. The menu
2. The culture cards
3. Create the bus
4. A website and social media accounts to spread the word!
5. Food safety protocols
