What is the problem you found?

Food and vegetables are covered in microplastics that people eat every day!

What is your opportunity?

How might we reduce plastics that are used to cover food and vegetables?

Who is your audience?

Our customer are elderly people in the community who would like a sense of connection and want to have a positive impact.

What Is Your Solution?

ComGarden - A community garden aimed at elderly people, but available to everyone. 100% of the garden infrastructure is made from recycled plastic. They will sell a membership which allows elderly people access into the garden.

Food will be weighed at exit to ensure no overconsumption and no plastic will be used as food is harvested and taken directly home. They plan on using the profits to donate to old people's homes.

Seed box which dispenses seeds which the elderly can plant and watch their seeds grow . $10 membership of a year to get into the garden.
