How can we get people to spend more time outdoors?

In today's digital age, Australians spend 8 times more hours each week looking at screens than being with loved ones. In addition to this, increased screen time has led to decreased time outdoors, and, subsequently, a range of mental and physical health issues (such as anxiety, insomnia and poor eyesight) as well as a lack of environmental awareness.
A mobile app that provides the user and/or their family with fun, easy outdoor challenges on a monthly basis. The app is designed to get people outside and enjoying quality time with their loved ones whilst utilising a digital component to keep the challenges appealing to a younger, digitally motivated user demographic. The app would also help to raise awareness for environmental issues by providing users with relevant resources and information, empowering the user to make a positive impact on the environment.
